I am currently a college student and i am a few hours away from having an associates degree in accounting. I plan on staying another two years in order to obtain my bachelors degree. So my question is, directly out of college with a bachelors degree in accounting, what type of jobs would i qualify for, outside of just being an accountant.

What is the difference between the cash basis of accounting and the accrual basis of accounting? Which one would you select for a company that has inventory and why? I am really tight on money right now and it seems as if EVERY MONTH something comes up-a kids fundraiser-birthday party-etc.etc. and I dont want my kids to miss out on the fun of the birthday party just because mom cant afford to buy an extravagant birthday gift. Any ideas on low priced gifts but are not cheap as in falling apart ? I feel bad being the cheap one at the birthday party but you kind of have to look out foryour kids first. FOOD ON THE TABLE.

I am already having a BS in business administration- genaral concentration. This fall, I am starting my accounting certificate program and I would like to ask which classes are best to take? I would prefer to work for non-profit and private organizations in the accounting field. I do not plan to take a CPA exam in the future. Thank you for your advices!
