I recently graduated in a 4th year institute with a major in Environmental Economics & Policy, but none of my classes are about accounting. However, I want to work for some entry level accounting paid job now so that it can benefits my resume, especially in the future when I will complete the MS in Accountancy .

I’m currently studying accounting at college and plan to be an accountant/financial professional with possibly opening a financial services firm eventually. My question is, besides taxes, can being an accountant serve any advantage with budgeting and smart spending?

I am currently looking up schools for my next educational course.
School A has a major in accounting.
School B has a major in business administration with a concentration in accounting.

What is the difference? Are their any advantages to getting one over the other?

My father is horrible with money, he needs to start using a budget, but refuses to let me help him with it. He is pretty far in debt, too

Every post I’ve seen, article I’ve read, and people I’ve talked to tell me that they leave public accounting after their 2 year CPA required experience is done. Why is this? I have seen no benefit to staying in public accounting besides the realm of different things you get to do. Does anybody like public accounting? Any tips? Examples?
