I want to get a job at a regional accounting firm I had 3.0 gpa in my Accounting degree. I don’t know of many firms and the ones I do know of don’t have any public email or application process on their websites. I am willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. Does anyone have any tips?

I’m currently going for an accounting degree in college, but I’d love to have my own business. Will having an accounting degree help me if I want to have my own business? I don’t want a huge business, more of a small home-based/freelancing business.

I’ve been in and out of college for 6 years, always being afraid to settle on a degree and be restricted to it. Accounting has great prospects, but what if I decide after being an accountant to venture into other areas of business? What else would I be able to do with my accounting degree?
